The ShermannAudio RS1 is an ultra-compact, multiple application loudspeaker designed to be flown in vertical or horizontal modes.
A 35mm stand mount is also fitted.

Two responsive 6.5" drive units and a powerful 1" compression driver deliver superb performance from this super compact, lightweight, highly portable loudspeaker.

The internal passive crossover network features asymmetric LP filter points for the bass/mid drivers.
The lower LF driver is rolled-off an octave below that of the upper driver to assist intelligibility in the all important vocal frequency region.

Just 534mm high, 226mm wide and 232mm deep the RS1 delivers smooth, crystal clear, wide bandwidth performance.

To date, the RS1 has been used within theatres as front and side fills, for conference speech systems, AV presentations with ShermannAudio subs and as delayed reinforcement for the main FOH system in conference applications.

Notes about the construction of R Series models.

Birch plywood with a panel thickness of 12mm, 15 or 18mm is used throughout the R Series.

Drive units are selected both for their sonic qualities and long term durability.

Within the R Series, emphasis is placed on the use of British or European drive units.

Each R Series full range model is equipped with fully tried and tested components including crossover and filter networks on Hughes PCN-3, 4 or 5 circuit boards.

Crossovers are the heart of any passive system and Hughes PCN networks feature close tolerance components specially manufactured to meet our demanding specifications.
