Please call or email for copies of current price lists which will be sent in pdf format.
New Shermann price guides will be issued on February 1st 2007.

R118B shrinks - (November 14th 2006)
The R118B has been in the Shermann range for 6 years and during that time numerous advances have been made in lightweight transducer design the most notable being the improved reliability and performance of neodymium magnet assemblies for high power bass drive units.
The new R118Bmk2 incorporates the developments we deemed necessary to obtain optimum performance from these new drivers and we are indeed proud to maintain the use of a British built drive unit in this Shermann model.
As a result some internal modifications have been made but externally there’s just one noticeable difference between the R118B and R118Bmk2 - it’s even more compact.
The depth has been decreased by 60mm although the width, height, handle compliment, plywood skids, castors and price have seen no change.
Weight is reduced by 9kgs whilst the familiar, widely respected thunderous response has been improved.
Still available for existing users - the original R118B loaded with a Fane 18XB.

(Does this guy ever take a break?)

Quick update - (October 25th)
Almost refreshed from a short break we've returned to an increasingly busy period on the run-up to Christmas.
R Series & A Series products have seen steady sales growth during the past 12 months whilst sales of the Dx Series product group remain buoyant despite the ever present plethora of fall-apart boxes arriving by the container load from the far east.
Expanding a business into larger premises is invariably a stressful task but the recent move has offered Shermann major benefits in all areas of production and design.

Dozens of Demos - (October 6th)
Maybe dozens is exaggerating the fact somewhat but we've certainly welcomed quite a number of customers through the doors at our new HQ.
Shermann RS1 boxes have now been added to the demo room stock teaming up with the GL5B lightweight LF systems.
GL3B boxes are also on view and have now been equipped with the drivers they were originally designed for, the new Precision Devices neo 15" unit - stunning!

Credit/Debit cards - (October 5th)
Good news for some customers; we now accept payment via credit & debit cards 'cos we now have one of those PayPally account things.
All we need to do now is figure out how it works!

All White - (September 30th)
The guys at Theatre Clywyd have just completed a neat install at a school in Derbyshire where the specifications called for the FOH boxes to be finished in White - including the grilles.
Other boxes were supplied in Shermann's traditional choice of colour - Henry Ford black but, the FOH boxes had to be completely white.
To be honest I thought they'd look dreadful however, I have to swallow a portion of humble pie in this instance as they do look rather stunning.
Before anyone asks yes, the brackets were white but no, the drive unit cones and horns were not painted to match - we painted the baffle boards black instead!

Xtol Acoustics audition Shermann R8M - (July 26th)
"The R8M's were very subtle when flown, which is an important consideration for a prayer marquee at a Roman Catholic festival.
Hanging them was simplicity itself, the brackets that come with them are very versatile and easy to use.
Next week I shall try them as centre fills at the Good News Crusade Camp in Taunton where they'll be used with my RS5 rig.
My guys are also excited at the thought of using them as wedges, they provide a lot of kick for their size.
They are without doubt a very clever, versatile box".
Email from Mark Wade @ 'XTOL Acoustics' based in Hemel Hempstead.

CB218n - (July 14th)
We've recently built a new version of the CB218 constructed from a combination of 18 & 24mm birch plywood and equipped with two amazing PD 18" neo drivers.
As you'd expect form any ShermannAudio box, it works really well if not better than the original and the overall weight saving is appox 25kgs.
No demo stock right now 'cos we sold them!

More CB218 sales? - (July 11th)
Yes, with another half dozen sold in the past 8 days the ShermannAudio CB218 is becoming a habit with some folk.
It's big, it's heavy, we weren't keen to manufacture the thing any more and it ain't cheap either however, stick a decent amp up its connector and It's darn loud; where it's supposed to be loud too.
The CB218 has lows you feel and thuds that move internal organs in fact, everything you'd expect and more.
